The Rector is doing a series of ‘How to set up for Holy Communion.’  These sessions are for all who are interested as to ‘what is what’ on the communion table with the chalice and paten and small linens and what the linens are called. It is however particularly aimed for those who ‘lay the table’ before the communion service and care for the linens. Boring? No - it is actually a very interesting subject as there is a great deal of history and practicality involved.

Desertserges and Farranthomas have already had a go. There will be further instruction/practice (lasting 10 -15 mins) at Kinneigh on 7th March and at Kilmeen on 14th March, both after the 11.30 services.

Congratulations to Arthur Shorten and Shirley Salter on their engagement.

Baptism - by the time this magazine is out Adam Matthew, son of Stella and Noel, grandson of the Rev. David Llewellyn will have been baptised at Kinneigh on 29th February. Adam will be able to celebrate his baptism every four years!
